Single-Family Homes
The homeownership component of the Springfield Townhomes HOPE VI Revitalization Plan includes 118 single-family homes. The 2-story homes with 4 distinctive floor plans are Energy Star rated homes with 1,635 to 1,885 S.F. of living space, 3, 4 and 5 bedrooms and 2.5 to 3.5 baths. There is an onsite three-hole practice green and ball field for various recreational activities. Also part of the community is the Carl Chavis YMCA, which features a state of the art fitness center, gymnasium and numerous enrichment programs.
Through the HPHA Housing Counseling program, the HPHA provides families interested in purchasing a home in the Spring Brook Meadows community with the tools needed to complete the home-buying process. This collaboration with the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency, the City of High Point and other funding sources provides first-time home buyers the opportunity to realize their dream of becoming homeowners.
